Luckily, for me, the babies left the nest while I was busy doing other things! I say this because last year, they left the nest while I was sitting in my chair and one of them landed on my head!
My chair is right in front of the shelving unit on the deck where the flower pot is, which has had a wrens nest in it for two years now.
They’ve been nesting on the deck for three or four years, but usually in something else…two years in this flower pot. I love watching the babies grow and yes, I still water the plant with the babies in it.
