I just want to be happy! Is that too much to ask? Rhetorical question there… It seems like, every time I get to my happy spot, someone brings me down! All I want is to be as happy and carefree as this little frog!!
Anyway, sorry about that! Most of my day yesterday was happy and carefree! It was so hot that I didn’t do much of anything…get in the pool, eat some lunch, get in the pool, work on the computer (editing, uploading to PICFAIR and my portfolio/PICFAIR pages), get in the pool again, eat dinner, take a shower, go to bed. Can’t sleep so I get in the pool again! That’s when I find this little frog and take some pictures!
Finding the little frog made my day!! He (or she) doesn’t care about my mood, or my tears… he’s just happy to be alive!
Other than this little frog, I didn’t take hardly any pictures! A couple of butterfly pictures down by the pool and that’s it! I’ve got so many photos to work on, it’s not even funny! But, that’s a photographer’s life… right?
I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped, my computer was being slow. I blame it on the heat! (Whenever something doesn’t go as I think it should, I blame it on the weather…too hot, too cold, the sun’s not shining, it’s raining! Anyone who knows me, know this about me! And now you do to! 🙂 )
So, that was my day yesterday! Really not too bad, just a little gloomy! And really hot!! The heat wave should be over tomorrow (Monday)… did I mention we don’t have air conditioning! The furnace gave up the ghost last winter. We have a wood stove, which I am paying for, which doesn’t help us during the summer! Ceiling fans and the pool… that’s what is getting is through! Close up the north side of the house and open the south side (this doesn’t always work though!). I’ll be blogging on this at some point! Soon, I’m sure.
*All photos in this post were taken with my LG cell phone camera last night!
Hope everyone has a great day! Stay cool out there!
