A Cicada Shell, Branches on the Ground, and Clean Up
Believe it or not, I was able to get out to go to work yesterday morning! Most, if not all, the branches are picked up and stacked, ready to be cut down and piled for the wood stove.
Branches like this one get cut into smaller lengths and piled up for the wood stove. Not the whole thing, but most of it.
The pine doesn’t get burned in the wood stove… it creates too much creosote and could cause problems. The best place for it is the bonfire.
I only helped my boyfriend out until about 130 or 2…I needed to rest so I could work on Sunday. At some point, I won’t be working Sunday’s anymore. Don’t know when, but it won’t be too much longer.
This pile actually got moved up closer to the house. We can keep a better eye on it there. I don’t trust the JW’s (Jehovah’s Witnesses) to not take any wood – they have taken things before and have actually mowed down my flowers. But, I think they know that this isn’t their property. At least until a new batch comes in. I’m putting a post, some time soon, in the ground near the property line between us and them, with a “No Trespassing” sign.
I didn’t realize til I uploaded this picture that the (c)HCMorris2019 was gray. Oh well, not changing it now! So, as you can see, when this pic was taken the lane was clear! It didn’t get cleaned up until yesterday afternoon, but it is cleaned up! Now, we need to cut everything down so it can be piled up for the wood stove.
Hope everyone has a great say!

(I will be posting my 100 word sentence…sometime today! I do have to work, so it might not be til this afternoon! And, also, the month is almost over and I don’t have too many left over’s – I don’t think. So, for now anyway, I’ll just make a post about the left over’s and go from there.)
