Ok, I think I need to explain the title…at least a little. I was sitting here the other day and the phone rang. We have one of those phones that has a talking caller id. I got it for my mom so she didn’t answer every phone call that came in (unknowns numbers? political calls? solicitors?). I had had enough of talking to solicitors because my mom answered the phone!

Don’t get me wrong, I loved my mom – still do, but…when you’re busy doing something and get pulled away for a nuisance phone call, it gets annoying!

Well, it announced some name, I couldn’t even begin to tell you who it was, but it sounded like it was saying “deja vu”. Or something like it. Prompting my son to say…”sounds like French for Deja vu!”.

I love my son, he brings tears to my eyes sometimes! In a good way!! I also like the fact that you don’t have to go running to the phone every time the phone rings. Just stop and listen. Most of the time, it’s an unknown name, unknown number and you can go about your business. Once in a blue moon, it’s someone you know and want to talk to!

I have thought of doing away with the land line, but…I do like having it. And I’ve gotten the payment down where it’s bearable.

So, that’s the story behind the title!
