Stay away from the flesh eating shelf!
Stay away from that flesh eating shelf!
It will attack without warning!
And take whatever flesh it can grab!
Yes, I was attacked by the shelf! I was watering the ivy, and had to stand on the chair (in the first photo) to be able to reach it. Not realizing that the chair was as close as it was, I hit the bridge of my nose on the corner of the shelf. More than hit it, actually. It broke skin, as you can see in the photo below. Surprisingly, it didn’t bleed as bad as it could have!
The photos were taken Oct 29, a couple of days after the attack actually happened.
While I was editing the photos, I started playing around and came up with these abstracts. Once you realize they are closed eyes, it’s hard to see them as anything else.
That’s my story of the attacking shelves! Or rather… shelf! The wound is almost completely healed now! Now…what else is going to attack me?
