I don’t know who owns the farm now, but this was William Mason’s farm…my great great great grandfather’s farm, on my dad’s side. The whole area used to belong to family. Some of it is still owned and farmed by family. I’m sure I’ll be posting about some of them at some point!
My grandparents, when they retired, traveled the U.S. I’m thinking this is Utah…very possibly Dead Horse Canyon. My grandmother took me there back in 1996. Without my grandparents to tell me exactly, I can’t tell you exactly! So don’t quote me on where it is, but I absolutely love this photo!
Sorry, I’m late today….once the day starts late, everything else follows! I worked for three hours this morning and then did some running with my boyfriend!
Where does the time go? I doubt I’ll do a fourth one like I have been doing lately. It’s so late in the day…and I’m tired. So this is it… for today!
“This is the gift of landscape photograph, that the heart finds a place to stand.”
~ Emmet Gowin

“Life is your art. An open, aware heart is your camera. A oneness with your world is you film. Your bright eyes, your easy smile is your museum.”
~ Ansel Adams
