I sincerely apologize for being late! We just got back from grocery shopping!! Uggh!!!!!! We left the house at 11am, had to go back twice! We went to Lowe’s to look for a new washing machine, didn’t like anything and ended up at Sears – bought a Kenmore! It will be delivered on Monday!
Why did we buy a new washing machine? When I’m unemployed? If you guessed because I had to, you guessed right! The old one gave up the ghost! Kaput! It’s done! We’ve had this machine for a long time! A very long time!
We thought we were going to have to go to the laundry mat tomorrow, but since it’s being delivered on Monday we don’t have to!!
So now we have a new washing machine that will hopefully last quite a few years! And we will be home the rest of the day! Thank goodness!
So that is why I am late posting! I will make up for it, I promise!!

If we are to have another contest of our national existence,
I predict that the dividing line will not be Mason's and Dixon's,
but between Patriotism and intelligence on one side,
and superstition, ambition, and ignorance on the other."
~ Ulysses S. Grant
The US right now is the perfect example of what can quickly happen to a prosperous business when you hire all the wrong people
Can someone update me on what's offensive today? It's hard to keep up!
Psalm 23 (KJV)
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Be thankful for the thorns and thistles which keep you from being in love with this world. ~ Charles Spurgeon
