Ice and snow storm
Dec 8, 2013
Doesn’t look all that bad and we’ve had worse. I think we ended up getting about 6 inches with that storm. Which meant that the neighbor had to plow us out, more than likely. The first photo was taken when we could still get out!
We’ve been stuck back here for up to 5 days.
How do we handle such a situation? We deal with it, and stock up on the essentials, and take lots of pictures! When you can’t go anywhere for any amount of time you make sure that there’s plenty of books to read, puzzles to work on and movies to watch. As long as the power doesn’t go out, which we are lucky because we live on the main power line that goes up to Braddock Heights.
My boyfriend’s never been stuck back here, or anywhere as far as I know. So it will be interesting to see how he handles it when it does happen…and we’re due for a storm! The last major storm we had was 2014/15. And it was a blizzard!
But for now, things are calm, no snow…just frost on the ground.
Hope you have a great day!
Thanks for stopping by!!
