  1. Your photographs are beautiful and the quotes touch my heart. I love bees and worry about them as well. If we can’t take better care of nature, we will lose it.

    • Thank you!
I’m doing what I can…I just wish I could get my boyfriend to understand. I have left patches of clover and dandelions untouched, only to have my boyfriend mow them down. 🙁 I about cried

      • Awww. Yes, I understand how you feel. Most people sadly don’t understand. My goal is to educate. There are some great groups on Facebook. I recommend the group Pollinator Friendly Yards. You can get planting ideas and share some of the posts to make others aware. Perhaps something will touch your boyfriend’s heart.

      • I hope so, but I doubt it…he’s more concerned about the yard looking “neat”. And I have tried, believe me. I took the battery out of the mower last week, even though he didn’t do the last mow of the season. It’s just getting to late and too cold. Maybe we’ll see more praying mantis’, bees and other pollinators next year!
On the other hand, I’m slowly digging up the “yard” and planting native plants to help the pollinators and cut down on the mowing.

      • Hahahaha. I love 💕 it. You actually sabotaged the lawnmower 😂. You’re my kinda girl. I think your strategy of slowly digging up the yard will work in your favor and his too. He won’t have to mow as much. Love that you’re going native too.
