New Year's Hump Day

November’s Leftovers

Jan 1, 2020

As many of you know, most of the photos I show are from “last month” – in this case, November. (Most of January’s photos were taken in December. I say most because I have some that I show that were taken way back, like in the 1960’s or before, or back when my son was small, as examples. I try to include the date, if appropriate.) Also, you should know the when I say something about “Son of a Leprechaun”, I’m talking about my son…he is taller than me and is almost always calling me a leprechaun! So, if I’m a leprechaun, he’s the son of one!

As usual, I have a ton of leftovers…but I’m only showing a few here.

And just a reminder of what my daily/weekly posts are…

every day: Picture of the Day, Words by HCMorris, at the end of the day (or close to it) I do a post with National Day Tomorrow, or at least I try to. This post might be something strange, historical, memories…something to end the day on a positive note, could be just a photo with quotes.

Sunday: Inspiration (photos with inspirational words)

Monday: Fun With Words (quotes, humor, did you know?, word of the day…anything fun, really)

Tuesday: Legends

Wednesday: Imagination Destination (this is new)

Thursday and Friday: catch up days (If I missed a something for what ever reason?)

Saturday: Photo(s) of the Week, these are photos that I have taken throughout the week. Usually, it’s just one, but sometimes I can’t decide which one to pick, so there will be occasionally be more than one., Cell Phone Saturday, I used to do Carefree Saturday’s when I was working as a caregiver and this was a day where I took care of myself, my needs. It sounds selfish, but I needed a day where I wasn’t – yet again – taking care of everyone else and neglecting my own needs. (At the time I was working everyday but Saturday!), Cell Phone Saturdays are days where I put down my Canon and only take photos with my cell phone. These are very much spur of the moment, mostly unedited photos (if anything, only cropped)

I try to keep to this schedule, but sometimes life gets in the way! Like when the tree came down on the roof, or when I get new lenses and I just can’t wait to show you the photos I took!! 🙂

There will almost always be at least three posts from me every day. Sometimes more! Like today, there will be four. During the holidays, I started doing a cell phone photo (taken today with my cell phone! 🙂 ). I will try to keep up with that, but sometimes my brain just doesn’t want to cooperate. We shall see how that goes!
