A Crazy Place Sometimes

Jan 8, 2020

That’s what Holly’s World is – crazy! But it can also be…

as silent as the snow at night

as hectic as a ladybug looking for food in the fall

as high as a hawk sitting in a tree looking for its next meal

as clean as a newly hung shelf

as fragile as a seed pod in the winter

as sad as a drooping flower

as happy as a cat sitting on his favorite footstool

as funny as a two headed dog

or a toddler with a lampshade on his head!

Yes, crazy is good sometimes! Gets the creative juices flowing, and pushes the negative vibes away, at least for a little while!

The list could go on…

and on…

and on…

Do you have anything you would like to add? (Keep it clean-ish! If you do want to add anything in the comments!)

“I’m not crazy. My reality is just different than yours.” ~ Cheshire Cat

“I prefer to be crazy and happy than normal and bitter.” ~ Paulo Coelho

“I don’t know karate, but I do know crazy and I’m not afraid to use it!”
~ unknown

Hope you have a great day, night, or evening
where ever you may be!

  1. I wish I could find the photo on your profile of the blue velvet slug… I ordered a canvas print from Picfair and I am so excited… I had to hunt it down but I found it. Love your work Holly. Love, Jessica… now you know my real last name… shhhh, don’t tell! LOL.

    • I got the email yesterday and wandered if it was you…they don’t tell who ordered, I don’t think. When I’m done here, I need to go to Picfair and take care of some business!
      Thank you so much!

    • I guess I should make some pages for all my different sites…I used to have one for picfair and shutterstock.

      • Which is the best platform Holly? For say, digital art or funky photography/abstract? Picfair is a little tough, no?

      • Picfair is tough, but not as bad as shutterstock, and they pay better. I haven’t had any problems with pixels, yet anyway. I’ve really just started expanding my horizons, so to say…but pixels allows digital art, abstracts and even words. My suggestion would be to take advantage of any “free” platforms you can. Give it a little time and see what works for you. Saatchi is one, I believe, allows extreme abstracts…but I haven’t checked them out in a few years.

      • Thank you so much Holly! I can’t wait for my canvas picture comes. I adore that little blue velvet looking slug. He captured my heart, immediately as did your artwork. I want to buy everything Holly. I know I will continue to purchase a lot from you. You are so great. I am just learning really. Take care. Love you. Jessica

      • You are very welcome! I wish you the best with all the exploring you’re about to do….you’ll probably find that having a couple of sites that you upload to is optimal, as it will help get your stuff out there and seen. Love you too!
