made my day…

This big guy made my day today! I was sitting out on the deck, kind of in a funk, when I saw him land in the tree…and he stayed long enough for me to grab the telephoto lens from inside, and even walk out – slowly – to the driveway where I got one shot of him! It’s almost as if . . . maybe, just maybe, he was sent to me?

and he appeared to my hearts delight

and soon was gone from my sight

So, I looked up what seeing hawks symbolize – as I have been seeing him or them more lately – and here is what I found… on the power of positivity website…

the hawk symbolizes the ability to use intuition and higher vision in order to complete tasks…

represents messengers of the spirit world…

seeing one means the universe wants you to learn powerful lessons and/or expand your knowledge and wisdom…

represents strength, focus and poise…

can show you your hidden abilities to lead you and others to a more positive outcome…

help you to see the bigger picture and avoid getting caught up in the small details…

may be a call to see things from a higher perspective and focus observation skills…

Was this hawk sent to me, to help me through? Maybe…

I don’t think this is the same hawk…
