(natural healing)
This past week has been really cold, too cold for this gal to be out and about taking pictures. Not that I haven’t taken any, but I’ve been sticking closer to home. It’s been in the teens at night, and you could say we’re lucky if the temps get up into the mid 30’s during the day! But that’s the way it goes in Maryland…
Or as the Mysterious blogger says..
Maryland Ice
melts away in a day!
But!
The New York and
Northeast icy types
that migrate via the
South Florida byway:
their coldness
and icy attitude
stays and stays!
(Thank you mysterious blogger, you’ve given me some inspiration today!)
One day so icy cold, the next it feels like spring! And you wonder why so many people get sick this time of year…which reminds me, I need to take some medicine.
homemade saline nasal spray…
1 tsp sea salt (no iodine)
1 tsp baking soda
16 oz distilled water
-mix ingredients and store in seal-able container, pouring what you need into some sort of nasal spray applicator. You can use this as often as you like, just not right after using an allergy nasal spray as it will nagate, or wash away, any benefits of the allergy spray.
I also use Nasacort and Zyrtec. Both twice a day…I got the flu a couple years ago, and my doctor suggested I use both twice a day. This daily routine seems to keep illnesses away. As well as using Colloidal Silver sparingly.
Most of the health websites suggest that a person should not use Colloidal Silver, so I would suggest you do your research and possibly even talk to your doctor as it does have a negative affect with certain meds and can leave your skin a grayish color if taken too much over a long period of time (I only take it once in a while during the heart of the winter to help boost my immune system).
why don’t I get the flu shot? Or the Nasal Spray? I’m allergic to eggs or have a severe enough reaction to them that I don’t want to put my body through that. The docs say nowadays that I’m not allergic, I just can’t tolerate eggs… whatever, I know I can’t eat them. I can eat eggs when it’s mixed in with other things (cake, brownies, cookies, bread) but scrambled eggs? Nope, can’t do it! I’ll just say this…if I do eat scrambled eggs, you’d think I’d gotten a touch of food poisoning! Pretty right? Yeah, I thought so!
So, I think I’ve rambled on enough

Interesting post!
I don’t get any shots anymore.
And my biggest allergy is to doctors for sure!
…my nurse practitioner said I had “white coat syndrome”, my blood pressure would always be elevated while at the office, out side of office – normal
Right! Cause doctor’s and their staff do not take it properly. You should be seated and at rest for at least 4 minutes before they take it!
I will remember that! And of course, when sick with strep or the flu bp’s gonna be elevated
Oh…my dad always said that they could “take his bp only if given back”!
