Tornado warning/high wind advisory…

ugg…what weather! At least it’s not snow, I guess! If it were snowing, we’d have three or four feet (or more) on the ground right now! They say about one foot of snow for every inch of rain…I’d say we’ve gotten about three inches of rain.

So any way, we’ are definitely keeping an eye on the sky today!

Both my son and boyfriend got tornado warnings on their phones, but the notice above is all I’ve gotten. So… what to do? Just pay attention. What else can I do?

Of course, I went out and took pics…and got drenched! I should have worn my boots.

We definitely don’t have to worry about too little water…maybe too much!

That is a river that I definitely do see. But don’t worry, it’s mostly away from the house. Remember the berm? We have one that we made to help divert the flood waters away from the house. I was going to link to my post FLOODING, but I can’t find it.

I might head back out, as long as it’s not pouring and the winds aren’t too bad, and take some more photos!

I’ll keep you updated – but for now, know that we are safe (The tornado warning for our area has been taken down, but we still have high winds.)
