A day like any other
Is still a day

Just another day around here…

Not that I don’t believe in Valentine’s Day, but we should show our love, for the ones we love, to the ones we love every day. Not just that one special day… today.

When I woke up this morning, there was a note, written on plain notebook paper “Happy Valentine’s Day”, taped to the coffee maker. I thought maybe my boyfriend had put fresh coffee and water in the machine so all I had to do was push start. No such luck 🙁

My cat threw up on the kitchen floor this morning . . . “Happy Valentine’s Day, mom! It’s my birthday, you can’t be mad at me!!” At least it was on hardwood floor and easy to clean up! He loves laying at my feet while I sit on the couch, working on the computer. I really have to be careful, mindful, when I go to get up.

…just another day…

The sun came out and showed her pretty face all day today! That, I can be thankful for, even if it is only 34 degrees out!

Despite everything…
I still smile
I still love
I won’t give up
I won’t give in either!
