“Dreams come true
if you survive the hard times.”

Trust yourself
you have survived a lot
you will survive what ever is coming

Slowly
Gradually
We will recover
We will survive
We will rebuild”

“Once you have learned
to dance in the rain
you will be able
to survive life’s passing storms.”

It is – so it would seem from all the media coverage – absolute madness out there! Stay sane! You can do this!!

linked to Amazon: Bushcraft 101: A Field Guide to the Art of Wilderness Survival by Dave Canterbury; available on kindle, audio book, paperback, audio cd; 256 pages, published by Adams Media; 1 edition (September 1, 2014); “The ultimate resource for experiencing the back country!
Written by survivalist expert Dave Canterbury, Bushcraft 101 gets you ready for your next back country trip with advice on making the most of your time outdoors. Based on the 5Cs of Survivability–cutting tools, covering, combustion devices, containers, and cordages–this valuable guide offers only the most important survival skills to help you craft resources from your surroundings and truly experience the beauty and thrill of the wilderness. Inside, you’ll also discover detailed information on:
Choosing the right items for your kit.
Manufacturing needed tools and supplies.
Collecting and cooking food.
Protecting yourself from the elements.
With Canterbury’s guidance, you’ll not only prepare yourself for any climate and situation, you’ll also learn how to use the art of bushcraft to reconnect with nature in ways you’ve never imagined.” (AMAZON) I am an Amazon associate and may make money with qualified purchases!

I don’t want to feed into the panic, but – I think it’s good for us to know some how to’s on survival – for any situation. I myself have some “how to” books on survival, but I also have learned some skills from my dad – which I will be posting about in the near future. Anyone that has been following me, or know me personally, knows I’m a survivor…and will do just about anything for my loved ones.

  1. Go where you feel most alive. Heh. Unfortunately for me that place is up and downstairs over and over and over again.
