April 1, 2020
The year is 2017, the day – April 1st . . . dad passed away on March 17. The funeral was behind us, my son and I had celebrated my 40th birthday – quietly.
We were sitting in the living room, talking about dad and all the fun times we had, the laughter, and the jokes. All the April fools jokes that had been played, all in fun…
After a while, my son decided to go downstairs and play on his xbox.
A few minutes later, he came back upstairs…
“Can you tell me why there’s a mouse in the toilet?”
“You’re pulling my leg,” I said.
“I’m serious!” said my son
“I’m not falling for it,” I said. “It is April fools day, after all!”
“”I’m not joking!”
So, while laughing, I grab the fish net which I ended up throwing away and the camera. Hey, if there’s really a mouse in the toilet, I need to document it. Who would believe me? A mouse in the toilet? On April Fool’s Day? Yeah right!
Lo, and behold…there was a mouse in the toilet!
“I know that was you dad!”
I said while laughing, tears streaming down my cheeks.
Taking pictures
And fishing him – or her –
out of the toilet!
Who knows…
Hope you have a great day!
Thanks for stopping by!!
What do you call cheese that’s not yours?
Nacho cheese
What if April Fools’ is just an April Fools’ Joke
If you have anything important to tell me,
tell me tomorrow
’cause I won’t believe you today!
Take care
Stay safe
Much love

🐀 Mice like humidity, in addition to this, drains and sewers are where they hide during the day. Unfortunately, any pipe leads to somewhere, most often this is your toilet. Rats are very good swimmers and can enter the bathroom through the sewer pipe, but mice would drown. So, if you find mice in the bathroom, it means they have entered there from an entry point in the walls. Locate it and seal it with rodent-proof foam.
🥴…🤓…😆
We actually haven’t had any mice in the house – that we know if – since then.
Dreaming about mice means that you’re scared of losing control… I had a dream about mice coming out of the plumbing before my dad passed away. It was freaky, but I knew it was a dream
