when you think things are bad

My Thoughts For Today

It’s been a rough day! Not so bad, and it could have been worse…but still, it hasn’t been good!

I will try and explain…

taken today with my cell phone

But first, I did get this photo of a fly on a lilac leaf. With my cell phone! I’m surprised it came out as good as it did…a good thing!

And…my cell phone’s not working properly. I can’t make or receive phone calls or text messages. Everything goes to my son’s phone! When I try to make a call or send a text my phone gives me this message “SIM Not Provisioned MM2”. I looked it up and did everything the site said to do. Either they messed up when connecting his new phone, or I need a new phone! Ugg…

Yeah…I bought my son a new phone on Wednesday.

Oh, and the house phone isn’t working either! There’s static/noise on the line. It happens every once in a while, when it rains especially. We’ve gotten a lot of rain lately! When I called the phone company to let them know, they told me they had an outage somewhere. My house phone and cell phone are with two different providers.

So, instead of focusing on the bad…I will concentrate on the good…

I still have internet!
I can still use facebook
twitter!
and email!
I can still take photos
and work on them!
My house is warm!
The pool is almost ready to open!
(freeze warning again tonight)
there’s good food to eat!
I am surrounded by friends and family
who care and love me!
And So Much More
Plenty to be grateful for!!

Tomorrow I will be going to Cricket (my cell phone provider) and get this situation taken care of! Cricket stores are still open, thank goodness. They open at 10am, so I will be able to do my thing in the morning and still be there when the doors open! Or pretty close to it!

Tomorrow is…

May 12
National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day
National Limerick Day
National Nutty Fudge Day
National Odometer Day

On May 12, 1215 English barons serve ultimatum on King John which eventually leads to the creation and signing of the Magna Carta

“When you think things arebad
when you feel sour and blue
when you start to get mad
you should do what I do
Just tell yourself, Duckie,
you’re really quite lucky!
Some people are much more…
oh, ever so much more…
oh, muchly much-much more
unlucky than you!”

take care
stay safe
much love

    • I try to be. No matter how bad things may seem, it could always be worse. It’s only a “moment” , this too shall pass.
