this little snake, and he was a little one – about 4 foot long maybe – disappeared

into the abyss between the siding and the wall of the house. I was assured he couldn’t get into the house that way! (Mice can, but…I digress!) Anyway, the next morning there was a present on the front stoop for me. Want to guess what it was? Go ahead, take a wild guess!

If you guessed, poop, you guessed right! Ugg! Oh well, at least it’s a black snake and not something dangerous like a rattlesnake! I need to stick some steel wool up in there to, hopefully, deter it from going back up in there. Steel wool deters mice, so it should deter snakes too!

    • that is very true! We haven’t seen any signs of mice for a couple of years!! In the house anyway.
