100 Word Sentence

When I was in high school, many years ago, I had an assignment to write a 100 word sentence. I can’t remember if it was my junior or senior year, I’m thinking it was my senior year, in AP English.
So, anyway – here is my 100 word sentence.

Their once were six large blue catfish swimming in the muddy, swollen river minding their own fishy business and eating other baby fish, crayfish, and anything else that moved really, when suddenly out of nowhere a bright piece of meat appeared before their very eyes and then the next thing they knew there were only five fish friends left, and then before they could blink an eye another fish friend disappeared, and another, and another until only one lonely catfish was left wandering what in the world had happened, thinking he would never ever eat anything else but baby fish.
It’s really not that hard to do…just using the right adjectives in the right places.
