A time for everything!

To everything
(turn, turn, turn)
There is a season
(turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose,
under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To everything
(turn, turn, turn)
There is a season
(turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose,
under heaven

A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together

To everything
(turn, turn, turn)
There is a season
(turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose,
under heaven

A time of love, a of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing

To everything
(turn, turn, turn)
There is a season
(turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose,
under heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it’s not too late

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.

I didn’t know this until I looked it up, but the Byrds song, Turn, Turn, Turn (above) is based on this Ecclesiastes scripture 1-8. In fact, it’s word for word the same…accept for the turn, turn, turn part. I knew it sounded Biblical, but didn’t realize that they had quoted each verse, in order, in the song.

“There’s always a right time for every thing.
Sometimes, you have to make it,
but sometimes you just have to wait for it.”
~ Wilson Kanadi

Time has a wonderful way of
showing us what really matters.

There’s a first time for everything

No need to rush.
What’s meant for you
always arrives right on time

“Everything will be alright in the end
If it’s not alright,
it’s not the end.”
~ Irish Proverb

hope you have a great day!
thanks for stopping by!!
