my thoughts for today
I can’t quite figure it out, but my gut is telling me that something isn’t right. I have no idea what, but the feeling is there.
Only time will tell
Stay the course
It will all work out…
Right?
So, what is trusting your gut anyway? It’s your intuition that is so deeply instinctual that even if weโve been out of touch with it for our entire lives, itโs still there inside of us, waiting for us to summon its wisdom and it is your immediate understanding of something. It’s your “knowing“… (onelove)
There’s so much going on…
is it the pandemic that’s causing my unease?
or the chaos in the country/world?
or something closer to home?
Things seem to be okay on the home front, at least on the surface anyway. The Son of a Leprechaun is doing good, working things out with my boyfriend, and the property/house is in good shape. I do know I need to get tested to see if I’ve had covid-19.
Maybe that’s what’s bugging me.
Is there a possibility? Yes. But, if I came into contact with it, it was before all this started. Like, the end of last year, very beginning of this year… my boyfriend got real sick, with the chills, fever, feeling wiped out. Like he had the flu, but he kept on going. I never got as sick as he did, but did feel wiped out sometimes. Still feel wiped out sometimes, if I try to do too much. But I’ve been blaming it on the heat.
I’m naturally hot (haha!), ever since I had my last operation in 2015 and went through early menopause. When this pandemic first broke out, I was always taking my temperature, never any fever. And for the first two months of the shut down, I didn’t do any shopping. Only starting shopping once a week back in June. And since my asthma attack/heat exhaustion episode a few weeks back, I’m back to staying home for the most part. Have only left the house twice since then, and even then, I didn’t get out of the car.
What ever it was, I never felt bad enough to go to the doctor’s. I do believe they’ve opened up testing in my area to everyone… so I guess I’ll be getting that done. I will be sure to let you know…but it takes two weeks, they say, to get the results back.
Sometimes, it helps to write all this down. Helps to figure things out! Thanks for riding this out with me ๐
take care
stay safe
much love
Iโve learnt at my cost to trust my gut. In the past I havenโt and have come to regret it.
I think our instincts are true ๐
I’ve been there too, not trusting my gut. I don’t necessarily regret this, but I have learned to trust my gut…always.
Thanks for your comment!

I love this post! I have a 6th sense at times. Intuition and perception ~Of course Iโm not wheats right. But I trust it as it comes from the gut~and a huge part of my heart. Great writing. ๐
Thank you! Heart has something to do with it too โบ

Stay safe! You will be alright soon. ๐โโ๏ธ Whatever the flu is, you will fight and win..sending you love. ๐๐
thank you!
I’m a big one for listening to my gut, or my intuition. I know that feeling from out of nowhere that warns about something. Hard to explain it, but it happens.
I keep wondering if I’ve had the covid, too, but haven’t been tested. I was admitted to the hospital for over a week at the end of Feb. they say it was flu, but I’ve honestly have never felt a flu like this one ever.
This thing is so awful and the information changes all the time.
Yes it does. I got online this morning and answered a few questions, it seems like I don’t need to get tested at the moment. It’s so hot and humid here, I think that’s what is really affecting me. When the weather changes, I will reevaluate and go from there.
