Yes, this week you will get more than one! So much is changing…I guess it goes with the territory, Holly’s World is going through some changes, the weather is changing as well! I will go through some of the changes at a later date, but nothing to worry about! Nothing major…

baby snakes, that is!

I didn’t think they would hatch, but I guess they did! LOL!!

I don’t know what prompted me to check on the eggs, but I’m glad I did! Snakes don’t really bother me, especially black snakes! I’ve had a couple get in the house, and all were put back outside, without being killed!

And then there’s this…

He was stuck in the trash can, with bird seed for a couple of days before I scooped him out with a cup! I’d actually been hearing him making noise every once in a while, while sitting on the deck, for a couple of days. Usually at night, but I never checked, because I thought it was coming from under the deck. Didn’t want to look and see a skunk or snake… so, on the 25th I couldn’t sleep and while sitting outside on the deck I heard the noise again, and decided to check the bird seed container. Grabbing the flashlight, I took the lid off and there he was, staring up at me! I left him there ’til morning, when I could see better.

He had a whole lotta food to “survive” on, so it wasn’t like he was in any trouble. Last night (Friday night), I heard some noise again and checked the bird seed…no mouse! I’m going to have to get a metal trash can to put the bird seed in…right now it’s in a plastic one, with a piece of sheet metal wrapped around it. Squirrels, and mice as well, had managed to eat a hole through to get to the bird seed. Until now, the sheet metal had worked. I readjusted the metal so it’s more snug fitting.

In all seriousness, I will take a new pic of myself every once in a while, so you can see what I actually see what I look like. I know it’s a good idea to snap a picture every once in a while, but I prefer to be behind the camera – not in front of it!
