Yesterday, I told you that our refrigerator stopped running. We left it unplugged for twenty four hours and plugged it back in this morning. So far, it seems to be running like it should….knock on wood! No loud noises! The motor seems to be running fine.
We closed it up after we plugged it back in…we even have ice now! We won’t start using it again until tomorrow morning, letting it do its thing for another twenty four hours. At least I don’t have to a technician in to fix it.
My bedroom/library is coming along smoothly. I should have the bed and couple of dressers in by the end of the week, if not sooner.
I wanted to share with you what we had for dinner the other night. It’s cheap, and absolutely delicious. This salad uses Fritos instead of taco shells or tortilla chips . Other wise, it’s just like any other taco salad.
The portions needed are totally up to you. I don’t like a whole lot of salsa, so it’s not included in the photo above…tomatoes, yes.
1 pd (or more) ground beef/ground turkey
Lettuce (we used Romain, can also add Spinach)
Ranch dressing/sour cream/guacamole
shredded cheese (I used cheddar, but any cheese will do)
Olives, beans, onion, bacon bits, salsa, anything else your heart desires, all is optional.
Top it off with your favorite drink, I enjoyed a glass of milk…in a Redskins cup.
My boyfriend told me not so long ago, that we could get rid of all the Redskins memorabilia we have. Not happening, it will be worth a pretty penny! If not already!! He’s done with all sports, including NASCAR! Well, except fishing and hunting, but I don’t really consider them “sports”. Fun activities that can also be healthy.
Well, I think I’ve rambled on enough today!
Tomorrow, Oct 10, is National I love Yarn Day…in case you wanted to know 🙂
Hope you have a great day, night or evening
where ever you may be!
Thanks for stopping by!!
