any ideas what kind of spider this is?

taken today with my cell phone

I was outside taking pics of one of my holly trees today, when this spider came down in front of me…I caught it with my (bare) hand, thinking it was a jumping spider or orb spider, and was going to get a picture of it. When it flipped over, right side up, I noticed its yellow back and dropped it. I didn’t want it to bite me, not knowing what it is. I did get some pics of it, even going inside and getting my CANON. The only ID book I don’t have is one on spiders. Maybe I need to ask for one for Christmas…

So, if you have any ideas, let me know…
In the meantime, I will be searching the web. Pun intended!

hope you have a great day!
thanks for stopping by!!
