~ disclosure: there is a little bit of a political rant near the end of the post, just a little bit of my opinion of today’s political atmosphere. Nothing harsh, and kind of explains why I’ve been quiet on that front

I guess this could be considered a recap of the month, which has been absolutely crazy. In a good way!! Nothing too serious, personally…just a lot of snow. Texas got hit with one of the worst snowstorms in decades, and then there’s all the political/social stuff going on. Just to name a couple of things, without getting to political or emotional.

When I said I was going through some changes, I wasn’t lying…my focus/priorities are changing. Not that I’m going anywhere, I’m not…twitter and facebook have literally taken off! I hope I linked to the right facebook page…if not, you can find me at Holly Morris. Mine is the one with a wolf silhouette in the profile picture. I’m not complaining about any of this, we all want to have more followers, likes and such…right? It just means I need to juggle my time differently. I would only click on the facebook link if you want to see political stuff…not that it’s all political – there’s humor, art, inspirational/spiritual as well – but if you aren’t right leaning/conservative, I wouldn’t go there. That’s all! I actually plan on doing an opinion piece soon, just need to get my thoughts together or pick a topic, so I don’t seem so harsh or come across as harsh. Or whatever… Most of you, who have been following me for a while, know my political views. I know I’m not the only one who feels the world has turned upside down. Things aren’t “right”…

For the most part, it’s stuff like the above meme you will see on Facebook. For me personally, you are who you are and as long as you are a good person, “race” doesn’t matter…neither does sexual preference, religion/spirituality, or gender…just don’t force those beliefs on me. (My way or the highway kind of thing.) Don’t force me to believe, act or think that there is only one way, don’t try and cancel me because my opinion is different than yours. That’s what I’m trying to say. My opinion, right, thoughts, are just as important as yours. And honestly, I don’t know if there’s really only one way. That’s just me though… and, it seems to me that some have forgotten how to get along. But I digress…
Some of these topics are sensitive for some, I know – me included – so I try to be aware of what I’m saying or trying to get across. And I will, whenever possible, try to include a disclosure at the opening of the post and/or in the description box.

Twitter’s cool, mostly just photos and inspirational quotes. I try to keep political stuff to facebook, or on WordPress when stating my opinion. When I upload new photos to Pixels, Picfair, they post there. If you haven’t noticed, I do have twitter posted on my main page… I took the archives off, but I think I’ll put it back.

My sinuses have been feeling a little stuffy lately. I’ve been taking it easy and taking medicine, just to keep anything at bay. Homemade saline nasal spray, allergy medicine, Tylenol when needed, and cold medicine. I think it’s just allergies, being cooped up in the house for the most part with the cold and snow, and ash/dust from the wood stove. Anyone who has a wood stove knows how hard it is to keep the dust down.

Well, that’s about all I have for now. Tomorrow starts a new month, with new dreams, hopes and aspirations.
