I really need to get in the pool and clean it…

…but I figured I’d go ahead and share this photo with you, while I’m waiting for the sun to reach the pool. I could get in and clean it now, but the water’s so cold…and then later there’s a chance of thunderstorms. So who knows what will happen later.

just couldn’t wait for me to finish up

Yesterday, I did manage to get some vine wrapped around the shepherds hook. While I was working, this female Cardinal was singing away in one of the Dogwood trees. It flew up to the feeder as soon as I reached the bottom of the deck steps! I turned around at the top of the steps and took a photo.
The Goldfinch still haven’t come back to the feeder yet, not that I’ve noticed anyway. I think they’re a little freaked out by the vine. By tomorrow they should be back. If not, the vine is gone.

Waiting for the sun
Waiting for the sun
Waiting for the sun
Waiting for the sun
Waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting

Waiting for you to come along
Waiting for you to hear my song
Waiting for you to come along
Waiting for you to tell me what went wrong

This is the strangest life I’ve ever known

What’s your name?!
Whoa! Whoa!

Can you feel it
Now that Spring has come
That it’s time to live in the scattered sun

Waiting for the sun
(The Doors)

“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.”

~ Jim Morrison

And now…I wait. Not too much longer. In the next half hour or so it should be okay to get in the pool. I don’t necessarily have to get in it to clean it, it’s just a lot easier.

hope you have a great day!
thanks for stopping by!!
