That is a great song. I was singing it my head as I was reading the lyrics. This puts a finer point in my age, but that was our classes graduation song and main prom song.
And the quote some to me as nothing has turned out as I wanted it or expected it to, but it’s for the best and I was able to realize that extremely quickly. It still hurts sometimes, but just because it’s not there, it doesn’t mean it’s gone. It just feels like that. And the new way is almost always what you needed even if it’s the implosion of your life.
Well stated! Sometimes, where we end up isn’t where we wanted to be but where we needed to be. If we can realize that, acknowledge it, learn, grow and breath through it…life isn’t always easy but we can get through it if we believe. Never give up!
This has become a must for me, so I’m gonna roll with it: “never give up, never surrender!”
