I live my life a quarter mile at a time

Picture of the day

A tiny toad, looking…watching…waiting

“This is my secret” he said. “I don’t mind what happens.” – Eckhart Tolle

I made this photo yesterday in Facebook, in story mode. The song I put with it is Toad the Wet Sprocket’s All I Want. I found him when putting the mower away after dumping the dirt I dug up from the walkway I’m working on.

Just to show you how tiny he is!

I also saw a teeny tiny frog hopping along the rim of the pool last night. Of course, I didn’t have my cell phone with me…and besides that I was in the pool. I have been known to put my phone on the ladder step, outside the pool…guess I’ll have to get in the habit.

The quarter mile title? That’s how long my lane is…walking down the lane and back = half a mile. I can do it in ten minutes…or an hour. Do I have my camera with me? Will I see a fawn, stop and watch it? Has been known to happen…

Always trust your instincts – they are messages from your soul.

Hope you have a great day!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Love yourself instead of loving the idea of other people loving you.

Noah told his generation that it will soon RAIN and they laughed at and mocked him. – We try and tell our generation that Jesus will soon REIGN and they laugh at and mock us. “As in the Days of Noah…”

Take care

Stay safe

Much love
