Night fishing

Picture of the Day

Fish too much? Can’t be done!

After dinner last night, we headed back to our favorite fishing spot and did some night fishing! We caught three catfish, two big ones and one smaller. They were all big enough to keep, that’s all that really matters.

We didn’t get home until after 1am, and it was after 2 before my head hit the pillow. I ache all over, and I’m beat! But it was worth it…we caught fish for future dinners, got exercise, and spent some quality time on the river!

A non-addictive, mood altering, non-substance; common side affects may include joy, happiness, memories, bliss, merriment, sore arms, and feelings of harmony with nature.

Ask your doctor if fishing is right for you.

Hope you have a great day!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Fisherman’s Prayer

God, grant that I may live to fish, until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast, I then most humbly pray, when in the Lord’s safe landing net, I’m peacefully asleep, that in His mercy I be judged as big enough to keep.

“Honey, I’ve got a big one on!”

“Yes dear, uh huh…”

This actually happened to me twice last night…I ended up annoyed. Both times I ended up getting snagged and losing the bait and hook because the pole wasn’t “bent over” and he didn’t think there wasn’t anything on the line. Uggh…if only he had believed me, we may have come home with two more fish. Oh well…

Take care

Stay safe

Much love
