* one of my female hummingbirds says “good morning”…I was sitting on the deck, drinking my first cup of coffee when she flitted up within reach. I was even able to put my hand out and she didn’t fly away. She did this 3 or 4 times…the first time, she was hovering only a few feet away, even told her good morning. I tried to get a video, but I wasn’t quick enough. She did this on Sunday(?) as well. My boyfriend said she was only 2 feet or so from my head. I had my back turned so I couldn’t see her, but I could hear her. Maybe tomorrow I’ll be able to get a video…
