nature never did betray the heart that loved her ~ William Wordsworth

my thoughts for today
Monday’s are hard

*I’m going to try and keep this short and sweet today…as short and sweet as I possibly can!

July 15, 2021

I’m still working on getting photos off my phone! It’s an arduous task, at least for me. I just can’t sit here for hours on end and go through images. I have photos in Google images, which is my main issue right now. When I did the initial transfer a few months ago, I realized there were no images from 2018, also only some of my other photos stored on my phone from throughout the years transfered…so I have to go through and check. What’s on my computer? What’s not? I could just delete them, but that’s not me, so I have to go through them. I do transfer photos/do a photo check of sorts a couple times a week. I really need to be able to concentrate, with as little distraction as possible. So that’s an issue as well.

Once this is part is done, it won’t be so hard to keep up! Right now is the hard part…

The only thing flat earthers have to fear
…is sphere itself.

I also realize that some of the photos I share I may have already posted…more than likely in “my thoughts for today” or maybe something else. Some of the “group” photos I know will be a good stand alone/photo of the day, so I will repost it later as a picture of the day. Then, as long as the photo’s been transferred, I delete it off my phone. As of right now, I still have over 447 photos in my photo gallery, with numerous facebook/pinterest images – but not nearly as many as I do photos. I use a photoshop app on my phone to transfer images from google photos back onto my phone, so then I can transfer them to my computer. Then, at some point I transfer “used” photos from my computer to the external hard drive.
By the end of the year, 99% of my photos will be off my phone. I will leave a few for Throwback Thursdays! Somehow, someway, everything always works out…they way that it should! Just dealing with ‘right now’…that’s the hard part!

weekend photos…

Not much going on over the weekend. We didn’t do anything for Halloween…but that’s okay!

The sun showed her pretty face on Saturday! Most of the week it was rainy, dreary…or just plain yucky! It’s supposed to rain off and on again this week…with a chance of a freeze tomorrow (Tuesday) night.

Some fall colors are showing…yeah, I’ve still got the Trump 2020 flag on the side of the house! And Joe Biden is not my president…I really don’t have any neighbors, or anyone to see the flags. So we’re ok!

Let’s Go Brandon!

Chinese Lantern plant and a butterfly!

We slit some wood and brought some back to the house…

some more fall colors…trying to turn, anyway!

November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.

With night coming early
And dawn coming late
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.

And fires burn
And the kettles sing
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring

  1. Your trees are looking so nice with the changing colors!
I like the chicken joke and the tongue twister, too. 🙂

    • Thank you!
I think the color peak for this area must be happening now. I haven’t checked the calender. I’ll be trying to get some photos throughout the week.
