picture of the day

follow The Word
and not the traditions of men

hope you have a great day!

thanks for stopping by!!

The Pharisees didn’t drink or smoke or do drugs,
they tithed, attended services regularly, dressed right,
read and memorized scripture, fasted and prayed,
defended the law

yet Christ rebuked them.
It’s not about the outward appearance,
it’s about the intentions of our hearts, humility,
righteousness and walking in the fruit of the spirit.

~ written in 1957 and truer than ever today ~

“When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing
– when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors – when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you – when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice – you may know that your society is doomed.”

2 Corinthians 4:4
“In whom the god of this world hath blinded
the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,
who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

      • Anthem, The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged are all worth reading. Goes without saying that the book (A.S.) is way better than the movies.

      • I usually like to read the book before seeing the movie, didn’t really have that option at the moment. 99% of the time the book is way better, no matter which book it is. There are a few exceptions, but not many.

Maybe I can ask for the books for my birthday 😉
