So much support from so many countries! Sorry if any supporting countries have been missed…
I’ve heard all the naysayers talking that the truck convoy isn’t really all that. I’m not paying any attention to them! This convoy is huge!! I hear trucks from all over the US are heading to Canada…there was some fear that the US drivers wouldn’t be allowed across the border. But there doesn’t seem to be any problems as of today. Maybe the border workers are against the mandates as much as the truckers – and others – are. If I lived closer, and were more used to the cold, I’d be heading there as well. If I could.

TIMBER!!!!

We didn’t get out to work on the tree yesterday (Wednesday), but today was the day. I pretty much was just going around and gathering up branches that had fallen, and watched my boyfriend, making sure he didn’t get into any trouble.

The part of the tree that is still caught up in the crotch of the other tree – in the first photo – is down, I just haven’t gotten a photo of it yet. They’re calling for more snow tomorrow, but we plan on going back out tomorrow and doing as much as we can. As of right now, we’re only supposed to get an inch or two, but we shall see. My lane still has ice on it, it’s been so cold that it’s just not freezing. Snow on top of ice isn’t any fun either. I believe it got down to 15 degrees last night (-9.4C) and over the weekend it’s supposed to get down into the single digits.
