we got us a convoy

I didn’t take as many photos on Monday as I did on Sunday. We stood there for an hour before the truckers came through, but it was a nice day, so it wasn’t so bad.

The fencing got in the way a little bit, sorry about that! The video I took today (Tuesday, 3-8) is five minutes long and I ran out of storage space on my phone. I will be posting it tomorrow, hopefully. I might have to put it on YouTube then post it that way. We’ll see what happens.

The signs and flags that were on the bridge yesterday have been stolen or thrown away! We must be pissing someone off!! We did get a couple of fingers, but mostly honking and waves! Even trucks and cars that weren’t part of the convoy were waving and honking. For the most part, you can tell if they are involved by the flags and decorations. I believe the convoy is mostly trying to stay in the right lane, but some are also in the left lane at times, for whatever reason.

United We Stand

“As Americans, we love our freedoms and love the Constitution of The United States of America.  This convoy aims to bring back our freedoms, our civil liberties, and bring an end to all unconstitutional mandates. This is about our rights, as well as the freedom of future generations. It’s not about political parties, but more so about a government that has forgotten its place and has no regard for our founding fathers instructions, “The Constitution.”
Our brothers and sisters to the North have made a stand! They have rallied together and told the Canadian Government that they will not tolerate their tyrannical tactics any longer. It’s time for the United States to make that same stand! This stand needs to be made not only for the sake of our own freedom, but also in support of the Canadians who travel between the US and Canada on a daily basis to deliver goods and supplies. While our Southern border stands wide open, there is a vaccination requirement at the Northern border… The border that supplies a significant amount of trade to the Country. We will follow the lead of our Canadian siblings, in that we will peacefully protest these mandates, while reminding our Government what their place is in this democracy. The Canadian Convoy has effectively demonstrated that you can peacefully stand your ground, and make your point, without the use of violence. There has been no rioting, not a single building has been burned, or business looted… We will conduct ourselves in an equivalent manner, and protect our God given freedoms.”
