The Laws of Detachment

Allow others to be who they are
Allow yourself to be who you are
Don’t force situations
Solutions will emerge
Uncertainty is reality – embrace it

~ Sue Fitzmaurice

~ the birds are loving the feeding station I have put together for them! One of the mourning doves has recently found the plate feeder on the stump and can be a little aggressive towards the other birds that try to feed while it is there. I believe there is a sparrow on the ground next to the stump in the photo…not sure what kind of bird it is, but more than likely a sparrow. The Gold Finch have found the new finch feeder…there is no water in the Hummingbird feeder yet. It will get sugar water soon; I’m just waiting to see a Hummingbird. We have a Redbellied woodpecker also visiting, but it goes to the stump feeder, not the woodpecker feeder. Not sure why, but whatever!

The sink is supposed to be a bird bath, but the birds haven’t discovered it yet. I think I need to put more rock in there…the planter saucer with water in it has been discovered and the birds, cats and squirrels drink from it. Other animals may have found it as well, but I haven’t seen them.

Yes, I’ve got an old chair…I’ve actually got three of them. They came in handy when I had to cover my Bleeding Hearts. I plan on using them in my garden or around my property for something, just not sure what yet.

hope you have a great day!
thanks for stopping by!!

Always remember, the crowd chose Barabbas
– not because they loved him, but because they hated the truth.

When you go to the store
for things that aren’t plants
but you see plants over there

It’s not the lie that bothers me. It’s the insult to my intelligence that I find offensive.

    • Thank you! I’m going to gather up some rock/gravel today and see what I can do. For whatever reason, the birds around here seem to like yucky water the best, to bathe in anyway.
