Is suffering really necessary?

May 17, 2022

it’s the most wonderful time of the year

Is suffering really necessary?
Yes and no
If you had not suffered as you have
there would be no depth to you as a human being
no humility
no compassion
You would not be reading this now
Suffering cracks opens the shell of the ego
and then comes a point when it has served its purpose
Suffering is necessary until you realize it is unnecessary

~ Eckhart Tolle

Ants!
In the mailbox!!

When I went to get the mail out of the mailbox yesterday, there were ants! A lot of them!! Everywhere! They had even gotten into the mail, and when I took the mail out, they proceeded to march all over me! Luckily, I was able to get them off me. The last thing I wanted to do was give anyone a show, if you know what I mean! Not out there on the street. I have had to strip bc the ants got where they shouldn’t have before, but that was in the backyard, years ago.
Anyway, when I opened the mail a little later, there they were. Luckily, it was only a few and they didn’t spread out too bad and I was able to either kill them or get them back outside. I did have to use wasp and hornet spray on the mailbox, which I didn’t want to do but I didn’t have any other choice and I wasn’t running back out to the store to get ant spray. I’ll be getting some next time I go out but, in the meantime, I will just have to keep an eye on things and keep my fingers crossed.

Before I go…I wanted to let you know that I will be changing things up a little. My 200 days of posting every day is almost up, so I figured it was also a good time to change things up a little bit. Nothing major….

When little things pop up, like the ant story above, I will just add it to my last post of the day. I will still do “my thoughts for today”, but for short stories I’ll just add them here.

hope you have a great day!
thanks for stopping by!!

Kissinger quote from a speech to the WHO Council on Eugenics, February 25, 2009:

Once the herd accepts mandatory vaccinations, it’s game over. They will accept anything – forcible blood or organ donation – ‘for the greater good.’ We can genetically modify children and sterilize them ‘for the greater good.’ Control sheep minds and you control the herd. Vaccine makers stand to make billions. And many of you in this room are investors. It’s a big win-win. We thin out the herd and the herd pays us for extermination services.”
