it doesn’t matter how she knew, she just did

June 26, 2022

it’s the most wonderful time of the year

“It made her laugh
– weeding with her fingernails –
and the real weight of the earth comforted her….
She knew this garden would do its best for her.
It didn’t matter how she knew.”

The photo was taken shortly after we got to the rally. There was a fair turnout, but it could’ve been better. The speakers were awesome…telling why they were there, about covid harm, and of course Santa spoke about how it’s our duty to do what is right. Good food and good conversations. They’re having another rally next weekend – both Saturday and Sunday – and on Monday they plan on going to DC. We plan on going on Saturday, then my housemate is going alone on Sunday, staying the night and going into DC on Monday. We would both go, but it’s not important for both of us to go at this point. I have my son and property to think about. I’m sure there’s more to share, but my brain is tired. We didn’t get home until 11pm, and I was up before 6 this morning. Friday night I only got three hours of sleep. I have tried taking a nap, but sleep hasn’t come.

hope you have a great day!
