opening to the morning sun

…we are under flash flood warnings – or something – here today, but what a joy it was to discover this little beauty yesterday! While fishing on the Potomac River last fall, I brought home a couple of seed pods. Didn’t know if they would do anything, but now I have two plants growing in my garden! They are called Jimson Weed…not sure if I spelled it right.
