…an occasional book, or feel-good item is okay. In fact, it could be recommended. Are the bills paid? Is there gas in the gas tank or money for travel put aside? Money put aside for emergency? Then go ahead and splurge a little, but just a little.

I have to admit, there was a time I only got books from the library, even looking for books for sale. But that didn’t last long…books from the library are cheap! At least they used to be. Most of my books are “used”, even hand-me-downs from my grandparents and great grandparents.
