The day that everything changed

December 12, 2022

picture of the day

done with trying to figure out who was with her
who was against her
or who was walking down the middle
because they didn’t have the guts to pick a side
she was done with anything that didn’t bring her peace
she realized opinions were a dime a dozen
validation was for parking
and loyalty wasn’t a word, but a lifestyle

it was on this day that her life changed
not because of a man or a job
but because she realized that life is too short
to leave the key of happiness
in someone else’s pocket

hope you have a great day!
thanks for stopping by!!

I believe in God
not because my parents told me to
not because the church told me to

but because I’ve experienced His goodness
and mercy for myself.

Jeremiah 17: 5-7 (NKJV)
“Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes flesh his [a]strength,
Whose heart departs from the Lord.
For he shall be like a shrub in the desert,
And shall not see when good comes,
But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,
In a salt land which is not inhabited.
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.

  1. I love that line, “life is too short to leave the of happiness in someone elses pocket” … Awesome.
