…this window sweats when it gets really cold, so the other day I decided to try putting a blanket down on the seal, to use as a type of draft blocker. It’s the same concept as putting a towel or blanket near the foot of the external door to block any drafts. So far, it seems to work.

In past years, I did try and put weather stripper on the windows, but they were old and didn’t stick very well. I might buy some in the near future, but for now the blanket works…and it looks neat.

With the next cold snap, I’m putting some nails in the wall above the kitchen door and hanging a blanket over it, using rings with clips. If/when that happens, I’ll be sure to share.
