It’s been a rough month…

It’s been a real struggle. I wanted to quit. Throw in the towel. Walk away.

Everything’s okay, life’s okay. I was just feeling frustrated.

It all started when I dropped my cell phone in a bucket of water. At first everything seemed fine, but for some reason I decided to restart my phone. It didn’t come back, and I had to get a new phone. The problem was, it threw my schedule off. I had saved my photos to the computer, but I had no idea what I had already used. So, I basically had to start over and I was worried that I wouldn’t have any “recent” photos to share, for my “wonderful ~ beautiful” posts. The photo of the day posts I wasn’t really worried about, I can pull just about any photo I want for those. But I needed recent photos for my other posts.

It couldn’t have happened at a more inopportune time, in the middle of winter when everything is dead. I could’ve gone out and taken photos of “anything”, but that’s not me. Every night, when I went to bed, I would pray. For the strength and courage to keep going. “Please help me, this is in your hands.” Every morning, the next day, I would somehow manage to squeak through.

It was a day-to-day challenge there for a while.

Now that things are starting to come back to life, it won’t be as much of a challenge. Doing what I do. How I do them. At least that’s my hope.

I will be spending more and more time outside, working on my gardens and property. I know I mentioned that things are going to be changing at Holly’s World…it may not be right away, and it may not be anything really noticeable. As I spend more time outdoors, I won’t have as much time to spend working on posts. Especially the “extras”. That’s what will be hit or miss…

We’ll see how things go.
