100 days

~ my thoughts ~

* this is something relatively new I do, where I take a break after posting for 100 days. This gives me a little bit of a much needed break.

I guess it’s not really all that new, the 100 days thing…I’ve been doing it for about a year, but this is only the third such post. I can’t believe it’s been that long already, where does the time go? Rhetorical question…

So, I will be taking the next 5 days off.
When I first started doing this I only took a day, to reset my numbers – but it wasn’t long enough, for me to reset my brain. I need a little more down time. So I started taking 5 days.

This doesn’t mean I won’t be around for the next 5 days, I just won’t be posting. Maybe… I do have three posts planned for later in the week.

I think the next round will only be 60 days. This is because at about this time – 60 – 70 days – I start to struggle with ideas and a little frustration starts to set in. You’ll never see it, and I won’t complain about it. It’s a fleeting “moment”, I guess. After a few days I’m back on track.

I think this is what I need right now. I might go back to every 100 days taking a break, or stay with 60…or maybe go back and forth. We’ll see how things go.

These are the most recent photos on my phone. I thought I’d go ahead and share them with you, especially since I don’t plan on posting any of my “normal” for the next 5 days. Now, there are no photos dated after July 4…a good thing, I think.

…a frog in the pool, that I’ve been swimming with the past couple of nights. Last night, he was singing a song too! My bird feeding station at night, and a frog on the deck, keeping me company and making sure no bad critters come along.
