Whatever I’m doing, I must be doing something right.
These frogs laid hundreds! of eggs in the pool the other night. I saved some and put them in the aquarium with the other tadpoles. With a bunch more water. I added some field rocks to give the tadpoles a way to get in and out of the water when they’re ready. There’s a bunch of little ones squiggling around and at least 7 9 bigger tadpoles. The bigger tadpoles seem happier with more water.
I hope, when autumn/fall comes around instinct kicks in and they go into the woods to hibernate. Or the garden. Otherwise, I have no idea what I’m going to do.

Amazing about all the tadpoles! For some reason we used to have frogs you’d see once in awhile here, but it’s been years since any have been. Guess it’s too dry for them.
I wondered what that X was I keep seeing on Twitter. How awful!
Maybe I’ll do a post on “x” soon, after I do some digging. It’s interesting though, everything means something. All we can do is the best we can, with the information we have. (Everything’s been hijacked and means different things to different people/groups.) As for the frogs and tadpoles, I have no idea what I’m going to do if they all survive. I think the bigger tadpoles will eventually eat the smaller ones, but I will probably have to put an artificial pond in or something.
