A snake in the house!

On Saturday we decided to pull the refrigerator out, clean it and get it plugged back in. After pulling the back off and checking it for dust and any excess water, we took a break. When we came back in, there was a snake! Alongside the refrigerator, heading towards the back…

We did catch it and put it back outside, where it belongs…we think it may have been living in the fridge, it’s been unplugged all summer (the fridge doesn’t like heat and humidity, so during the summer months we unplug it and use two small refrigerators in the basement…it is only about two years old). How it got in the house and how long it’s been in the house is anybody’s guess, but it didn’t look like it was starving…

~ it could mean nothing more than I need to make sure the screen doors stay closed and locked, but it is neat to see what the symbolism is
