Closed for the season

September 26, 2023

outside my window

With a heavy heart and tears in my eyes, I announce that the pool is closed, everything else is a go like normal.

On the other side of the pool is where the new frog pond is. It looks so tiny compared to the pool… The tadpoles seem to have adjusted to their new home.

I hope the frogs enjoy it as well…

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but scientists are not cut from a finer cloth than the rest of humanity. Many are willing to fudge data, omit inconvenient results from reports, or straight – up lie, for money, prestige, or advancement.

Shall we “follow the $cience”? (Science)

and tell me, is the “new variant ” in the room with you right now?

In Canadian Parliament, Zelinskyy, Trudeau, Honor Nazi Veteran Of The Waffen SS: the free thought project… “Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy – who commands a battalion of neo-Nazis – honored an actual WWII Nazi with a standing ovation on Friday.”“So, the same leftists who called Trump supporters Nazis for years are now honoring an actual Nazi – while Germany has notably locked up several concentration camp guards in their 90s for their involvement in Nazi activities.”

  1. I bought a pool back in May – sadly, it hasn’t even been put together yet and doesn’t look good for ’23, either.
My collection of tadpole are growing – but so are the mosquitoes. Yesterday so many escaped, I am thinking about… well, I don’t know what I’m thinking at the moment 🙁

    • I’ve had four tadpoles transform into frogs and wander off into the woods…or should I say, hop? I hope the ones that are left either transform or are able to hibernate for the winter…there’s quite a few.
This pool I bought back in 2020, right at the beginning of the pandemic. It’s smaller than the one I replaced, but I had no choice. I wasn’t paying what they were asking. I’m just glad we have it.
