Books should not be banned from the library, except pedophilia and straight up pornography. Age restrictions should be placed on certain books, and possibly placed in special sections in the public library. We already have children’s, “young adult”, and adult…so why not continue the same way, placing books in appropriate sections.
When it comes to school libraries, it’s pretty much the same thing. Younger children, who are easily manipulated and confused, shouldn’t be exposed to manipulative material. Just because certain books aren’t available at the library doesn’t mean a parent can’t buy it.
Say no to promoting of homosexuality and LGBT ways of life to children.

Most of us don’t really care what lifestyle someone chooses to live (I think), but it becomes an issue when it is pushed/forced on us and our children. You know, keep it in the bedroom/private. Keep the drag shows for adults only – don’t involve the children. If a question is asked about something, answer it accordingly and simply. They don’t need long, drawn out answers…
When my son was around 7 years old, we rented a movie from Blockbuster that we had recently seen on Sy-Fi. I think it was rated PG-13 and considering that we had seen it on tv, it couldn’t be too bad. The opening scene was two females making out in a tent, when one’s pet snake came slithering in and freaked the other one out. This scene was not on the tv version. I watched, asking myself what I would say if my son said anything…he did. All I said was something to the effect of “some girls like other girls”…short and simple, and he accepted it.
Children don’t need a lot of complexity, details, or to know everything. Their brains can’t handle it and they will believe whatever they are told – especially the younger they are, for the most part. Books in the school system should mostly be focused on growing and learning and kept age appropriate. Parents shouldn’t be kept in the dark about what their children are being exposed to.
Don’t ban books
Teach your children to self-censor

to do so, too.”

There is so much more I could say, but it’s not really on topic (drag in the gov/military, “furrys”) so I will save it for another day.
As adults, we can read whatever we wish to. We shouldn’t be forced to read books on certain topics if we’re not interested. It goes the other way as well…we shouldn’t be kept from reading what we like. This logic could also be applied to children, depending on their maturity and understanding.
If certain books are allowed to be banned, it will lead to other books being banned.
hope you have a great day!
thanks for stopping by!!
