a cold, rainy, windy day

Dec 14, 2019

Saturday’s Cell Phone Pictures

It’s been raining most of the day, really kinda miserable. Tomorrow’s not supposed to be too bad, but they’re calling for a wintry mix Sunday night into Monday. Who really knows what we will get, until tomorrow. The weathermen don’t really know… all we can do is kinda plan.

Puddle Reflection

The sun did come out for a while and I was able to catch a little bit of blue sky…

and the sun starting to set!

We haven’t seen the sun for a couple of days, since at least Thursday. And even then I think it was mostly cloudy. I cropped the picture above so that way there weren’t as many distractions. It looks like the suns rays are right there, but in reality, they’re maybe 100 feet away.

I’m not feeling all that well (just tired and a little achy), so I am calling it a day and resting the rest of the evening. We’re watching Darkest Hour – a movie about Winston Churchill – at dinner. I had recorded it the other week when we had free HBO, but we went to watch it and it was a different move. The Darkest Hour, a sci-fy movie about an alien invasion was recorded instead. Oh well, it’s not the first time Direct tv has listed one movie and shown another.

I can’t decide which photo to use for this post, so I decided to use one for every day of the week (7)! Not that one was taken every day this week, but there is one for each day!

Which one do you like the best?

Somewhat Simple and quiet

Dec 13, 2019

I was going to do some purple stuff, but I couldn’t find anything I liked… so, simple quiet is what it is!

It may be Friday the 13th, but it is still Friday and a reason to dance.

March 13, 2020 will be the next Friday the thirteenth

Did you know that on Friday, October 13, 1307, the French rounded up thousands of Knights Templars and tortured them as heretics. Was the beginning of Friday the 13th mythology (if it is a myth …). https://www.rd.com/culture/friday-the-13-history/

Tomorrow is National Alabama Day, National Bouillabaisse Day, Monkey Day, and National Wreaths Across America Day.
