We’ve heard it all before. Who do we trust? What do we believe?

I personally look at everything with a grain of salt, a little – or a lot – of skepticism. Not everything is as it seems, especially in today’s society. When you can’t trust the media, the government, the education system, the pharmaceutical industry – just to name a few, you start doing your own research and come to your own conclusions.

That’s just the way it is now. But… it’s also gotten to the point where something (bad) is going to happen. If you want to call it “bad”… the fuse has been lit.

‘Woke alerts’ launched to warn consumers of companies with left-wing agenda. Right now it’s only in the US, but they are working on getting it world wide.

This is a really good idea, in my opinion. Unless one pays close attention to what’s going on in the news, social media, etc., someone could miss a company going woke. This way, they can determine if a certain company supports values they don’t agree with and choose to spend their money else where.

Woke Alert is a website that launched this past Friday (April 14, I believe), and is part of Consumers’ Research. “Woke Alerts are a project of Consumers’ Research, which has been exposing corporate wrongdoing since 1929.“

Build A Bear, Bud Light/anheuser-busch, NIKI, Jack Daniels, Oley, Tampax, are just a few that have gone woke. What I’ve listed is just a short list, there is a lot more! A LOT MORE!

It’s almost enough to bring a person to tears, but I’m not going to dwell on it, I can’t. The only thing to do is the best I/we can to make sure I/we know what our dollars are going help fund or support.
